The Andover Mavericks are a competitive, spirited team from the North Suburban Conference. They are currently ranked 21st in the nation, and recently brought home their first conference championship

We also participate in local tournaments, team events, and fundraisers throughout the season.

Held during regular practice times (TBD dates).

  • Players not trying out still attend practice.
  • Rosters are announced before the first week of games.

Outdoor Practices – Heritage Oaks Park

  • Days: Mondays & Fridays
  • March (TBD): 5:00–7:00 PM
  • April–May (TBD): 6:00–8:00 PM
  • Bring: cleats, water, layers for Minnesota spring weather

Indoor Practices

  • A few sessions may be scheduled at a local gym (TBD dates, usually late March)
  • Typical time: 6:30–8:30 PM

Practice Absences

Communicate absences directly through the GameChanger app.

  • Games start: TBD
  • Open team games: Thursdays at 6:00 PM
  • Arrival time: 5:00 PM for warm-ups
  • Girls’ team schedule: varies depending on league placement (TBD)

For Players

  • Arrive 1 hour before game time
  • Bring: dark jersey, light jersey, cleats, water
  • Practice like you play

For Parents

  • Cheer positively
  • Avoid playing time concerns during or immediately after games
  • Avoid on-field calls or disputes
  • Model “Spirit of the Game”

Players must register with both the Mavericks program and Minnesota Ultimate (MNU).

1) Mavericks Registration

  • Mavericks registration form – Due TBD
  • Down-payment or full season fee submitted to the team treasurer
  • Season logistics survey (tournament availability, varsity interest, etc.)
  • Payment options and deadlines will be provided each season

2) Minnesota Ultimate (MNU) Registration – $60

  • Follow the registration link emailed by the Mavericks
  • Boys: Select Andover (Open) → Open Division
  • Girls: Register based on team placement once confirmed
  • Sign all waivers
  • Complete before attending practices that involve gameplay

What do team fees cover?

  • MNU team registration
  • Tournament bid fees
  • Equipment (discs, cones, pinnies, first-aid kits)
  • Player jersey
  • Coaching stipends
  • Indoor facility rentals
  • End-of-season celebration

Fee schedule & fundraising credits (typical year)

  • Payment #1: Team Registration Fee – Due TBD
  • Payment #2: $60 MNU Player Fee – Due TBD
  • Payment #3: Remaining balance (max ~$150) – Due TBD

Impact Card Fundraising

  • $20 off dues per 10 cards sold
  • $50 off dues per 20 cards sold
  • Additional cards can be checked out from coaches at practice

We want every interested athlete to be able to play. For Mavericks fee assistance, email andovermavericks@gmail.com. MNU also offers financial aid for league memberships (application link released each season).
